We are delighted to announce the full Bloomsbury Festival 2018 programme. For five days in October, Bloomsbury Festival will present a trailblazing programme of science, literature, performance, music, and discussion, shining a light on the radical imaginations, institutions and 11,000 residents of contemporary Bloomsbury.
Inspired by the centenary of the Representation of the People Act, the theme of the 2018 festival is Activists and Architects of Change. The Festival will see over 140 events take place across this lively cultural quarter in major institutions like The British Museum and University College London (UCL), small and quirky spaces like The Horse Hospital, in Bloomsbury’s historic garden squares, and on its famous streets. 60% of the Festival is FREE.
Plus don’t forget the 2018 edition of our hugely popular Night-time Street Party with a Twist!, Roll Up Store Street on Friday 19 October, and our weekend Festival hubs, Activism! at UCL, on Saturday 20 October, Rights of Woman at Conway Hall and Sunday Funday at Brunswick Square on Sunday 21 October.
We hope you enjoy browsing the programme and booking your tickets – look out for the Festival brochures which will be available within the next couple of weeks.
