CALLING ALL SINGERS – Individuals, Choirs and Groups!
An open rehearsal/workshop for our SING BALLADS OF BLOOMSBURY event on Friday 25 October, suitable for all adult ages and 12+ (under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult). No specific singing level is required to join in but it helps if you have had a little bit of singing experience at some stage.
This singing workshop is both a drop-in, and by invitation to some choirs who have already shown an interest in taking part. The workshop is part of a larger scale outdoor event, The Cromer Street Family Day that the festival is holiding the same day – you are welcome to come earlier to enjoy all the activities.
All of the songs you learn will be part of an event which is looking back at the history of the streets in Bloomsbury and around the St Giles area. There will also be short readings and some choirs with their own additional song performances.
