Take Part
There are many ways to be part of the Bloomsbury Festival — volunteer, sponsor, or become an event partner
Become a Volunteer
Each year Bloomsbury Festival looks for volunteers to help manage the Festival in October.
To ensure a smooth running of our events, walks and exhibitions we rely on volunteers to assist in welcoming the audience at events, information distribution, attendance checking, collection of handwritten feedback, and partner communications, aiding our Staff to present successful events enjoyed by our audiences.
Volunteer opportunities are designed for anyone who has an interest in supporting the festival and/or gaining additional skills and work experience. You will get to meet a variety of people, partners, professionals and creatives while also experiencing the behind-the-scenes tasks of an annual festival. You will also see some of the events at which you steward.

Event Partners
Each year, we invite new and existing partners to submit plans for your own events, exhibitions and activities to be considered for inclusion in the festival. The festival provides marketing and ticketing support, and can help find a venue for your event, but partners must be able to produce, present and fund their own idea.
Important Note: we do not guarantee to accept all events proposed. The festival has to make many practical and curatorial decisions to ensure a wide-ranging high quality programme.
We are no longer taking applications for 2026 - please check back for details of the 2027 Festival later this year.
