AKDC Diwali Take over

Join Arts & Kuchipudi Dance Charity (AKDC) for a vibrant celebration of Diwali and the classical Indian dance form of Kuchipudi, just in time for the festival of lights.

The session opens with a hands-on drawing and painting workshop where children and adults alike can get creative together, illustrating objects and imagery inspired by Diwali and Kuchipudi — a relaxed and fun way to bring people together and set the scene for what's to come.

This is followed by an intergenerational Kuchipudi performance featuring AKDC dancers of all ages, showcasing the beauty, rhythm and storytelling of this classical dance tradition.

To close, the audience is invited to get on their feet and experience Kuchipudi first-hand in an interactive dance-along led by AKDC — no experience needed, just enthusiasm!
