Autumn Brass in Russell Square

Spend an autumn afternoon in one of London's most beautiful garden squares as London City Brass performs in the heart of Bloomsbury. Presented by the Bloomsbury Association and the Commissioners of Russell Square, this special Bloomsbury Festival concert brings the warmth, energy and colour of live brass music to the historic surroundings of Russell Square.

London City Brass is one of London's leading community brass bands, bringing together musicians from across the capital. Its members span generations and professions—from people working in the NHS and construction to banking, education and the creative industries—united by a shared love of making music. Throughout the summer the band performs on park bandstands and at community events across London.

Now they're coming to Russell Square for an afternoon of music celebrating the changing season. There’s some seating and cover provided but feel free to bring a chair or picnic blanket, relax beneath the trees and enjoy an uplifting programme of favourites in one of Bloomsbury’s most distinctive open spaces.
