Join us for upLIFT: Stories of Joy - an evening of curated multidisciplinary performances produced by The Avieli Arthouse, centered on lifting up emerging artists to creatively empower audiences.

As individuals and communities, we are filled with compelling artistic ideas which bring beauty into the world. Yet, so many things can hold us back; a lack of opportunity or a supportive community, financial barriers in accessing artistic development, geographical restraints, or even profound self-doubt - the list is endless. We believe wholeheartedly that the key to community empowerment through art is to lift each other up, especially those who yearn to create but do not have a platform. This is what upLIFT is all about - lifting up hidden voices, unknown perspectives and marginalised bodies, so they can be witnessed, heard and recognised with support.

We’ve carefully selected artists from various disciplines to respond to our theme, Stories of Joy - from dreams that have become true, to those out-of-the-blue triumphs - we’ll be celebrating everything that brings the best out of us. Come through for an evening of raw talent, bravery and inspired ideas, as we lift up the artists who will each play a role in uniting communities and cultures.
