To save the world as we know it, how much are we willing to sacrifice? Charting one all-too-possible 21st-century life, Ruth Gilligan’s audacious new play challenges us to think the unthinkable.

2075. Half the UK is underwater. Defeated and dejected, former climate scientist Catherine Hardy broods bitterly on her past. But when an unexpected visitor arrives, Catherine realises that there might yet be a final chance for love - and hope - to prevail.

Charting the course of one all-too-possible 21st-century life, Ruth Gilligan's thrilling, audacious, new play encourages us to think the unthinkable: to save the world as we know it, how much are we each prepared to sacrifice – not just for ourselves, but for those we love? And, what if we fail? Will those sacrifices still then seem worth it?
