Bands on Camden New Journal stage

11am Katy Carr
Katy has a unique voice and allies that to her interest in cultural history: expect a musical walk through London music hall, Jazz classics, the great American sing book and much more.

11.30am Alex Green – cabaret superstar brings his big hits to Bramber G

12 noon The Spud Peelers – featuring the legendary Whisky Mick on the Mandolin
The Spud Peelers have so many residencies in Camden and beyond, it would take a directory to list them. Playing authentic Irish folk with a dash of country to it, the Peelers are one of the best known and best loved bands in the genre performing in London today.

1pm Dandelion
This five piece is made up of students from Camden schools and the Camden music charity YMM. Expect originals and covers from a band that are making waves.

1.45pm WMC band
The Working Men’s College, based in Crowndale Road, have a Saturday afternoon course that brings in musicians who want to learn together. We showcase the students from the weekend Reggae Band course.

2.15pm Kinobe – featuring Dorian Ford on the piano
Dubby, electro and chilled beats from this masterful quartet made up of jazz maestros.

3pm Peace and Love
Reggae classics with a dash of two tone, ska and blues thrown in – Peace and Love have blazed their way across North London venues for years, earning a loyal following for their heartfelt renditions of classics.
