Two family sessions with award-winning author Maisie Chan. Whether your are already a fan of Danny Chung Does Not do Maths and Keep Dancing Lizzie Chu, or new to Maisie’s books, you are in for a special treat. The ages of each session are just an indication – all family groups are welcome.
11.30am – Tiger Warrior series (6-9 years)
A thrilling action-adventure series with the magical power of the Chinese Zodiac.
2pm – Nate Yu’s Blast from the Past (8-12 years)
This is Maisie’s new novel. It’s about Nate who thinks he’s not Chinese enough, forgotten histories and a family secret.
Maisie Chan is a multi-award-winning author. She won the Jhalak Prize and Branford Boase with her debut children’s novel Danny Chung Does Not Do Maths. Her new novel Nate Yu’s Blast From the Past is one of the Best Children’s Chapter Books for the Summer (The Observer) and The Week Junior Book of the Week. She writes a young fiction series called Tiger Warrior and has written for the best selling anthology The Very Merry Murder Club. She lives in Glasgow with her family and dog.
