Have you ever wondered how actors prepare to sing a song on stage? Jane Streeton, Lead Singing Tutor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, offers a workshop explaining how actors are taught about breath within the context of a singing lesson.
RADA has produced many well-known graduates who make singing a central part of their careers. In this interactive workshop, Jane will explain ways actors think about breath to achieve their artistic goals and the specific skills they learn within their singing training at RADA.
Jane is the co-author of Singing on Stage: An Actor’s Guide, which also explores these ideas and she will be giving out discount vouchers for her book at the end of the workshop.
Tickets: FREE – but pre-booking is essential
