This workshop is an invitation to explore the physicality of materials inspired by artist Alexis Peskine‘s latest work. Now on show at the October gallery, Forest Figures is a collection of mixed media work contemporary in appearance and evocative of black history, trade and spirituality. Using the human figure as a central motif, Peskine combines it with forms and objects that both question and celebrate our connection with the natural world.
