Alec Forshaw, local historian and author, will tell the extraordinary story of two of Bloomsbury’s most famous institutions, the Foundling Hospital and the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children. Alec’s illustrated talk will show how both hospitals revolutionised the way that we care for children in this country but also made their mark on on Bloomsbury which continues to this day.
