Vyte Garriga is a London based actress, playwright, and physical theatre performer from Lithuania. She graduated from RADA MA Theatre Lab in 2018. Since graduation, she has been working with theatre companies specialising in physical theatre and devising as well as creating and producing her own work. Her first full length play Paper Swans transferred to Soho Theatre for a run this April after its success at Edinburgh Fringe 2024. After reading Paper Swans, Macready Theatre in association with Bloomsbury Festival commissioned her to write a play for their Youth Theatre Company, which was nominated for an Offie. More information about Vyte and her work can be found on her website: vytegarriga.com
This workshop is aimed at actors, performers, theatre makers, spoken word artists, public speakers or anyone that find themselves in front of an audience and feel the need to rediscover how to be alive and present at each and every moment. Through a bunch of exercises in this workshop, Vyte will give you the basics that work for her as a performer to learn to listen to others, turn the sound of the inner-critic down and simply be, which then allows the responding to happen effortlessly and naturally.
