The session will encourage children to use their imagination, enhance their language skills, and emphasising the importance of revisiting and editing their work to improve it. Ross, known for brilliant children’s books such as the 2020 Waterstones Book of the Month The Midnight Guardians, The Chime Seekers and Spellstone, will share more about his heartwarming tale, where young dog Rebel has to go on an epic quest to save his owner from war. Ross will explore how he brings his memorable animal characters to life, share his writing tips, and challenge students to think creatively about their own pets’ voices – how their own dog might talk, what voice their cat might have and whether their hamster might be a secret action hero! Brimming with heart, adventure, friendship, and bravery, this is the perfect event to ignite imaginations and a passion for storytelling.
