Brunswick Square Gardens - Railings opposite the Foundling Museum
Discover Bloomsbury through stories of childhood, care, creativity and green space in this free outdoor display on the railings of Brunswick Square Gardens. Bringing together historic and contemporary images, the installation explores the area’s long connections to children, families, hospitals, charities, gardens and creative communities — from the legacy of the Foundling Hospital to the Bloomsbury of today.
Created by the Foundling Museum for Bloomsbury Festival, the display invites visitors to encounter Bloomsbury not just as a historic district, but as an evolving landscape of social and environmental care. Designed for walk-by discovery and reflection, the images offer an accessible “taster” for the Museum’s forthcoming Seeds of Care exhibition exploring care, creativity and our relationship with the natural world.
