Bloomsbury Festival 2020 took place from 16 – 25 October. Where possible we kept events live, but many were also available online either via our website or by a ticketed online link.
We tried to be imaginative about how we present our work, keeping the essence of the creative activity but allowing access online or on the street where possible. We were delighted to have a partner radio station Bloomsbury Radio – you can catch up with some of the interviews and Festival content featured on Bloomsbury Radio via their soundcloud page. We also delivered 2000 Festival in a Box packages to the local community who could come to the festival. You can read the full 2020 Festival report here.
We worked with partners from across Bloomsbury’s diverse academic, professional and resident community. The Bloomsbury Festival 2020: Vision theme acted as a catalyst to a wide spectrum of events from the arts and science of the visual world, to perception and futurology. Alongside a host of visual creative projects and amazing scientific discoveries, the 2020 programme turned Bloomsbury inside out, making visible the parts and people rarely seen.
