Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the King’s Cross Brunswick Neighbourhood Association

Our festival partners King’s Cross Brunswick Neighbourhood Association (KCBNA) celebrate their 40th anniversary this year.

We have produced a celebratory programme and podcast for Bloomsbury Radio, to mark the anniversary.  It features Nasim Ali OBE, Chief Executive of KCBNA; Sofina Razzaque who works with the Bangladeshi community; Diane Fisher, who looks after the older people’s groups; and Senior Youth worker, Shofi Muhammod. They discuss the work of KCBNA and the challenges and solutions to continuing their vital work in a global pandemic.

Also this coming weekend (24th Oct) aerosol artist Muhammed Ali returns to north-west Bloomsbury to visit the KCBNA youth venue paint a new mural– he was commissioned by Bloomsbury Festival to create the augmented reality mural A Few Pounds in my Pocket on Cromer Street as part of the 2019 Festival.
